In short

A summary. The full text below is what applies.

  • We don't sell data

We use what you send us to answer you, and share it only with providers that help run the site or where the law requires.

  • Engage data belongs to the business

Businesses that use Engage decide what it holds about their customers. We process it on their instructions.

  • Access, correct, delete

Write to us from the email address you used with us, and we will act on your request as the law requires.

Who this applies to

This policy covers visitors to this website and anyone who writes to us through it. Comark is a technology company based in Israel that builds websites, business systems and infrastructure for its customers.

It does not cover the systems we build or host for customers. Those are run for the customer, who decides what data they hold, and we process that data on the customer's instructions. The same applies to Comark Engage, as explained under “Comark Engage” below.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the site and to answer you.

Contact and request forms
Your name, company, email address, phone number, the topic you chose and your message. In the contact form, name, email, topic and message are required; company and phone are optional. With your message, the form also sends the address of the page you sent it from, the site language, a record that you agreed to this policy, and a note of whether it was sent without JavaScript, which helps us filter automated submissions. The project request form (Start a project) sends the same contact details plus your role, the services you selected, your current situation, timeline, budget range, project description and preferred contact method; in that form, name, email, at least one service and consent are required.
Where form messages go
Messages are delivered to the system Comark uses to receive enquiries and are read by the people who answer them. If the form cannot be sent, the page shows our email address so you can write to us directly.
Email
If you write to us directly, your address and whatever you put in the message.
Server logs
Your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser and device type. These are created automatically by our hosting and are used for security and troubleshooting.
Language cookie
The site stores the language of the page you are viewing in a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE. It holds nothing else and is deleted when you close the browser.

Comark Engage

Comark Engage is a shared inbox and CRM that businesses use to talk to their customers on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. The contacts and conversation history in a business's Engage workspace belong to that business. It decides what is kept and why, and it is the controller of that data. Comark processes the data on the business's instructions, to provide, support and secure the service.

If you wrote to a business that uses Engage and want to see, correct or delete what it holds about you, contact that business. This policy covers what Comark collects through this website.

Why we use it

We use the data to:

  • reply to your enquiry and, if you ask for one, prepare a proposal;
  • operate, secure and fix the website, and detect abuse;
  • meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use the contact form to send marketing mail you did not ask for.

Cookies and tracking

The only cookie the website sets is the language cookie described under “What we collect”. The site does not set advertising or marketing cookies, and it does not load third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from our own domain.

The Engage application has its own sign-in and is not covered by this section.

If we add analytics or any other tracking in the future, we will describe it here first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

Only people at Comark who need the message to answer it can read it. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf, such as web hosting and email delivery. They may handle your data only to provide that service to us.

We disclose personal data to others only if the law or a competent authority requires it, or to protect our rights in a legal proceeding. Some providers operate servers outside Israel; where that is the case we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can follow up and keep a record of what was agreed. If a project follows, the data becomes part of the customer record under the agreement for that project.

Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier, and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to the systems that hold enquiries is limited to staff who need it, and the infrastructure is managed under a security programme. Comark is certified to ISO/IEC 27001, 27018 and 27019.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your data, we will act as the law requires.

How we secure systems

Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted if it is inaccurate, incomplete or no longer needed.

Provision of data through the site is voluntary. If you choose not to provide the required fields, we may not be able to answer you.

To make a request, write to us at the address below from the email address you used with us. We may ask for details to confirm who you are before we release any data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The current version is always on this page, and material changes will be stated here. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
