Tier 1
This pageShared hosting
For company sites and landing pages.
- A tuned server we run
- SSL and scheduled off-site backups
- Uptime and security monitoring
- Migration from your current host
For business websites that need to load quickly and stay up, with nobody on your side looking after a server. We run the hardware, the operating system, backups and monitoring, and the engineers who set it up answer when something is wrong.
Four tiers
Each step up gives you more capacity, and moves more of the operational work from your team to ours.
VPS
Apps and stores
Dedicated
High traffic
Managed
Critical systems
The final split is written into each service agreement.
Operations
What we do on the servers we run: documented, repeatable and reviewed.
Provisioning, hardening, Nginx and PHP or Node.js runtimes, updates and capacity planning.
MySQL and Redis tuned for the sites on the server, with slow queries tracked.
Scheduled backups stored off-site, restored regularly to prove they work.
Uptime, resources, SSL expiry, backups and error rates, with alerts going to an engineer.
Firewalls, patching, SSH key access and least privilege, following our ISO/IEC 27001 processes.
DNS, caching rules and WAF set up for your site's real traffic.
Certificates issued, renewed automatically and watched for expiry on every domain.
Files, database and DNS moved, and everything tested before the switch.

High availability
When a system outgrows one server, this is the shape we build on dedicated infrastructure. Load balancing, replicas and failover are designed in where the workload needs it.
Migration
We plan the move, rehearse it on a copy and switch over at a quiet hour, with your old hosting kept until you are satisfied that everything works.
An inventory of sites, databases, scheduled jobs, email and DNS on the current host.
The right tier, a switch-over window and a rollback plan.
A full copy on the new server, tested by you and by us before anything changes.
DNS TTLs lowered in advance, a final sync, then the switch, with SSL, redirects and forms checked.
A close watch for the first days. The old host is retired only after you sign off.
Plans
Starting points for each tier. The final configuration and price follow a short technical review of what you run.

FAQ
Yes, in the sense that your site has its own account on a server that also runs other sites we manage. We watch resource use on every server and move a site on when it needs more than its share. If you need reserved resources from the start, a VPS is the next step.
When the site needs background jobs, Redis or software of its own, slows down at busy times, or is a store or an application rather than a content site. Our guide “Shared hosting, VPS or dedicated” on our blog goes through the signs.
Hosting covers the server: hardware, operating system, backups and monitoring. Updates and fixes to the site itself are application support, which you can add to hosting or get as part of a managed website plan.
You get access to your site's files, database and logs. Root access is not part of hosting, because other sites run on the same server. If you need it, a VPS gives you a server of your own.
Yes. We copy the site and test it on our server before changing DNS, then check forms, redirects and SSL after the switch. Keep your old hosting until you are satisfied that everything works.
Infrastructure review
An engineer reviews your setup and recommends a tier, including when you don't need to move at all.
